 POSITION SUMMARY

Oakley Tractor Technicians work in a professional environment focused on working as a team to diagnose and repair our fleet of class 8 Volvo Tractors, auxiliary power units and other various equipment related to the tractor. 

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and repair all aspects of class 8 tractors including but not limited to Volvo and Mack.
• Keep a clean and neat work area.
• Continue to keep up to date on tractor repair procedures.
• Assist each other with a team attitude.
• Work on truck in and out of shop atmosphere (road calls)
• Handle driver concerns with a team.
• Diagnose and repair APU problem.
• Diagnose and repair Hydraulic problem.
• Charge out parts as needed.
• Tag parts for warranty and cores as needed.
• Write repair stories for warranty and all other repairs.

Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Own tools air & pneumatic
• Computer Skills on Diagnostic Software
• Operate equipment safely in shop environment.
• Lift, pull, push, and carry over 50 lbs.
