Oakley Tractor Technicians work in a professional environment focused on working as a team to diagnose and repair our fleet of class 8 Volvo Tractors, auxiliary power units and other various equipment related to the tractor.
Essential Functions:
- Diagnose and repair all aspects of class 8 tractors including but not limited to Volvo and Mack.
- Keep a clean and neat work area.
- Continue to keep up to date on tractor repair procedures.
- Assist each other with a team attitude.
- Work on truck in and out of shop atmosphere (road calls)
- Handle driver concerns with a team.
- Diagnose and repair APU problem.
- Diagnose and repair Hydraulic problem.
- Charge out parts as needed.
- Tag parts for warranty and cores as needed.
- Write repair stories for warranty and all other repairs.
Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Own tools air & pneumatic
- Computer Skills on Diagnostic Software
- Operate equipment safely in shop environment.
- Lift, pull, push, and carry over 50 lbs.
